This Landlord Ordered Soldiers To Beat Tenants for Asking for a Refund of their #Rent.

There was a Commotion at Lekki Palm City Estate, Ajah after some Soldiers Mercilessly Brutalized Tenants living in the Estate, for asking the Landlord one man named Majuka Nnamdi Emmanuel (Pictured below) to refund their Money.

It all started after Armed robbers attacked the compound, and carted away with valuables Just days after they moved in, Then one of the tenant who became scared for his life demanded that the N1.3million he paid for the house rent be refunded back to him.

But the Landlord Majuka refused and said that he can only refund the money only if Someone pays for the house.

Argument erupted as other tenants joined to ask for their money, Thinking that the issue will be resolved amicably, The Landlord bounced in the compound with some hefty soldiers this morning and woke the tenants up with Heavy Flogging.

They were beaten to the extent One of them even fainted and was rushed to a nearby Hospital, thats when the Soldiers stopped..

Niger State Consumes 30,000 Codeine Bottles Daily

More revelations have continued to trail an undercover investigation by the British Broadcasting Corporation on the codeine epidemic in Nigeria.

According to a research work carried out by the Development Initiative of West Africa (DIWA), 30,000 bottles of cough syrups containing codeine are consumed in Niger State daily.

The initiative further disclosed that 3 million bottles of the product are consumed across the nation on a daily basis.

Speaking at a quarterly DIWA awareness programme on the codeine menace, the Niger State DIWA boss, Mallam Musa Mohammed El-Sani, decried the high rate of consumption of the product by women and young people in the state.

The Nation quoted him as saying that the abusers’ addiction to codeine is harmful to their body and brain.

He said the alarming rate of addiction to codeine, which addicts consume to get high, is responsible for the increase in social vices and crimes such as kidnapping, raping, terrorism and killings in the country.

He commended the Federal Government for the ban on the substance and called for better monitoring of the black market, saying trading in the substance was still booming there.

She added that she wouldn’t stop looking good because married men continuously pester her for sex. All that she needs to do is to develop a thick skin so they don't hurt her feelings with the vile words that might come as a result of her refusal.

“It’s normal for married men to demand for sex from a good looking lady, but she must develop a thick skin so that she can guard her heart to avoid any misbehavior. However, I won’t stop looking good because they pester me for sex, “

Graphic Photo! Gunmen Kill Man Celebrating His Birthday In Lagos.

More details of how a young man was killed in cold blood in Lagos - have emerged. According to reports, the deceased identified as Musty Sokoto was killed at a birthday party held in the Agege area of Lagos State after gunmen stormed the party and shot him dead.

Sources said Musty was a popular youth among the members of Hausa community in Agege, especially for his philanthropy.

It was learnt that the guests scampered to safety when some stern-looking gunmen suddenly invaded the party and opened fire on Musty at close range.

His killers were said to have fled immediately Musty fell down in a pool of his own blood.

“ It was like a scene from the movies when the fierce-looking men stormed the party and shot the celebrator dead. The young man was dancing with friends on the occasion when he was shot dead and his killers escaped from the scene as guests scampered into safety in nearby buildings.

“Although, the reason for his gruesome killing is unknown, but the late Musty was such an unassuming boy and did not keep bad company. Even the party he organised to mark his birthday was a small bash attended by his friends and associates.”

A community leader, Alhaji Tanko Abideen urged the police to unravel the mystery behind Musty’s killing and stepped up surveillance activities around Agege and environ.

He said: ” I am urging the police to fish out Musty’s killers and unravel the mystery behind his gruesome death. The police should also put in place a proactive surveillance of Agege community and fish out criminal gangs who might be killing innocent residents in the neighbourhood.”

Fayose: Why Ekiti APC Primary Election Failed.

AYODELE Fayose, Ekiti State governor, has disclosed why the All Progressive Congress (APC) in the state could not hold a successful primary election.

The governorship primary election of the APC which held on Saturday in the state was been marred by violence ranging from protests to carrying of ballot boxes, smashing of the boxes, carting away of voting materials and conspiracy with security agencies in manipulation of the process.

Reacting, Fayose likened the APC to a house divided against itself, saying this was why the party failed to conduct a peaceful primary.

“The whole world can now see the so-called progressives. Ordinary primary election, the APC could not hold here in Ekiti.These people are hypocrites and enemies of democracy, masquerading as progressives.

“Their party (APC) is a house divided against itself, it’s center will never hold,” the governor said in a tweet via his twitter handle on Saturday.

He expressed worry over the conducts of the APC agents at the primary saying, “If they could be this violent during their own primary election, won’t they do worse things during the election proper?”

Fayose cautioned the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) not to allow itself to be used in manipulating the forth coming governorship election slated for July.

“INEC must be mindful of being used to manipulate the July 14 election in favour of APC. More so that they have by their conduct today, failed themselves,” he said.

Meanwhile, the Ekiti State Governorship primary has been postponed following the break out of the violence.

As at press time, HEADLINE gathered that no date has been announced for a repeat of the primary.

Zodwa Wabantu says people that have buried her alive through hoax death reports have resorted to that because they feel her powerful presence and can't handle it.

Zodwa took to instagram to tell her fans that she's alive and kicking. She told TshisaLIVE that she's been getting calls from different people asking her about rumours that she had passed away and wants to set the record straight.

"I don't understand people that want to joke about death. I mean, even at a time like this, where we are actually mourning the celebs who have died. It's stupid and I think it's just their last resort because they can see that I am here to stay."

In a video posted on her Instagram, she said she considered herself a "die hard".

"Guys I'm not dead. What could possibly kill me? People like me just don't die. I'm not dead. How many times must you call me to say Zodwa is dead? People like me, they don't die, they don't just die."
Zodwa also explained that after having failed to bury her with negative comments, cyber bullying and slander, she feels her haters, out of jealousy and helplessness, have resorted to "killing" her.

She added that being killed in the media and on social media was something she'd seen with the likes of DJ Sbu and Trevor Noah. The entertainer said when looking for similarities, she saw that it was a matter of hustle and success.

"Look, I have no time for people who want to kill me because I am working hard for my cash. I have confirmed bookings till September, that have been paid for already. Why would I just die?" she asked between giggles.

She also left them haters claiming she's dead a message... to uhm ponder on.

"I won't die because you hate me or I make you uncomfortable. Or because you've convinced yourself I have no place in the world or the entertainment industry. And, when I die I will die happy because I know I would have chased my own happiness right to the end and I'll probably be rich too."
