The embattled Blogger who was recently arrested by the (Economic and Financial Crimes Commission) EFCC has regained his freedom.
He was arrested by the operatives of the EFCC few days ago for cyber stalking which they consider to be a criminal offence. Well, Sidiq has his freedom now, but expressed his disappointment in his arrest as he was a major supporter of President Buhari during the 2015 elections.
The question now is whether Sidiq Usman is exempted from arrest just because he supported President Buhari. If Cyber stalking is a criminal offence, why would Sidiq think he should be exempted from prosecution?
Well, he is within his right under the Freedom of information act, but how far can he go pushing his case forward as he has vowed to purse this matter through his legal team.
