Google Duo now #1 in Top Free chart, available globally.

For those of you who are #Apple fans and are familiar with the Apple Face Time App,  the "Google Duo" is in town now.

Google Due was developed as an App by Google to run neck to neck with Apple's Face Time App. You could guess that Apple is being giving a run for its money as it has been reported that just within two (2) days of the release of Google Duo, it has peaked to be the number one free App downloaded in the Google play store.

Both Apple's FaceTime App and Google duo App are functionalities you could install in your smartphone that enables real time video chat on any network. While Apples Face Time is restricted to only Apple users, the Google duo works for every one on both Android and iOS platforms.

In the Play Store's "Top Free in Android Apps" chart, Duo currently sits in the top spot, ahead of other free apps such as Facebook Messenger, Pokémon Go (is that still a thing?), Facebook (for God's sake, fix your Android app), Snapchat (code it correctly, dammit), YouTube Music, and Instagram. It's entirely possible that this is just a temporary surge, but it's nice to see that people are demonstrating interest right now.
