The shortlist of three entries has been approved by the Advisory Board for The Nigeria Prize for Literature sponsored by Nigeria LNG Limited.
The three shortlisted entries are Born on a Tuesday (Elnathan John), Night Dancer (Chika Unigwe) and Season of Crimson Blossoms (Abubakar Ibrahim).
According to the Chairman of the Advisory Board, Prof.Ayo Banjo, the eventual winner of the competition will be announced this October.
The Chairman of the Panel of Judges is Prof. Dan Izevbaye, a revered scholar and literary critic.
Other members of the jury are professors Asabe Kabir and Isidore Diala.
